Odell Brewing Company is committed to contributing to charitable programs in our serving area and to engaging our co-workers in our philanthropic efforts. Our charitable program is managed by a co-worker team that meets quarterly to choose which agencies to support.

Primary areas of interest for donations include:

• Humanitarian, including:
  • Children-at-risk
  • Single parent families
  • Elderly
• Environmental
• Educational

Gift-in-kind Donations (Apply)

• We will review this request even if you don’t fall into one of our areas of focus
• Please submit at least 2 weeks prior to your event
  • You will receive further pick-up or delivery instructions upon approval

Grants of less than $1,000 (Apply)

• If your organization has an immediate need or project that supersedes our waiting period for Charity of the Month, please apply here
• If you are denied Charity of the month status for the following year, we encourage you to submit an application for a grant to fulfill immediate project needs

Charity of the Month program (Apply)

• The Charity of the Month utilizes funds raised through our taster tray program in our Tap Room and offers the chosen organization month long representation to our guests as well. Visitors to Odell Brewing are given the option to donate all of the money that they pay for a taster tray to give back to the community.
• On the third Thursday of each month, 10% of our total sales are added to the taster tray funds for donation.
• The total funds generate approximately $4,000 a month.
• Charity of the Month will be chosen by a committee at two times throughout the year (January and July)
  • We will contact you regarding your status within six months of your application
• Agencies selected are encouraged to utilize the tap room for either a fundraiser or staff appreciation event.
• Four months of the year are awarded to Northern Colorado organizations, four months to other areas within our distribution area and four months are awarded to agencies with whom we have a long term funding commitment.
• If you fall within our areas of focus but were not chosen as a Charity of the Month, we encourage you to follow up with a grant request supporting immediate needs your organization may have.

We consider submissions quarterly in mid-March, June, September and December for our large grants, or monthly for our small grants. Checks are sent from the Odell Brewing Company Fund at the Community Foundation of Colorado.
